MOTSUNABE RESTAURANT – TOKYO

Our good friend Rupert sent us some images of a very cool wee Motsunabe Restaurant in Tokyo. For those of you that don’t know what Motsunabe is it is a hot pot soup dish made using pork or beef offal. Whats more interesting than the dish itself is what the designers have used for a facade on the restaurant. Old wooden boxes!. Now that is innovation!

DIP?

It is those Winter months that make you miss the summer. You find yourself pining for a dip in a gorgeous pool. This would be the pool you could easily spend those summer days enjoying. Designed by San Francisco based MinDay architects, this stunning pool is located in Saratoga, California. The design is also wheelchair-accessible and has won a national AIA Small Project Honor Award for accessible design.

ORIENTAL WAREHOUSE – EDMONDS & LEE
