Love British artist Damien Hirst’s work. This is one of Hirst’s latest pieces, a whole Hereford cow and cockerel preserved in formaldehyde. The work is incased in a steel and glass tank, right in the middle of the restaurant. Called “Cock and Bull,” the showpiece towers four meters into the air at the Tramshed which only serves steak and whole roasted chickens. The art installation is an extension of Hirst’s Natural History, a collection of preserved animals he’s been creating since 1991.
We both enjoy traveling to Melbourne, Australia for a wee look around to get those creative juices flowing. While we were there we just had to pop into Zuster (translation: sister, in Dutch). Zuster is in fact run by 4 sisters and what a fantastic job they do!. Feel in love with their stunning furniture and homeware store which is located at 370 Swan Street in Richmond. So anybody traveling to Melbourne check it out!
Love this image from Kenzo’s Fall/Winter 2012 campaign. Creative directors Humberto Leon and Carol Lim have teamed up with photographer Jean-Paul Goude. The fall campaign is to be launched this week during Pitti Uomo. Stay tuned more to come…
This is the stunning interior of Virginine Denny and Alfonso Vallès home where they also work. The space was once a button factory located in Paris. We adore the colour palette and the mix of stunning vintage furniture/accessories with amazing artwork. These images were snapped by photographer Petra Bindel, and styled by Emma Persson Lagerberg. Drooling! Read more »
